I put them on the inside on the flap. If i put them on the outside knowing my luck they would go missing. Then as soon as they open the envelope they will see it. Dont want to give them another excuse to shout at me! lol0

From the email:
A SMART sends out a small signal when it goes through mail sorting offices during its journey to our panellists. They only transmit when in transit. This provides Royal Mail with information about the route a letter takes through their mail collection/ delivery system, helping them to identify and correct areas of their organisation where mail could be delivered faster. SMARTs will be in a sealed coloured sleeve, to make them immediately noticeable. It is important that you do not open or remove the SMART from the sleeve, as this makes it easier for us to process.
There will be a four letter code on each of the SMARTs you receive. You will need this code to data enter your items online.
In order to get the most use out of a SMART, we ask our panellists to use SMARTs they receive in items that they send out, hence rotating the SMARTs between panellists. In your posting pack you will also find a plastic wallet with “SMART HOLDER” written on it. This is for looking after your SMARTs until you are due to reuse them.
Please see the checklist below for simple instructions on how to complete your survey tasks with regards to SMARTs.0 -
mmm-the SMART is in a yellow coloured sleeve.the whole item has then been put in a clear envelope which is sealed with a sticker on the back.the SMART keeper is another wallet.

it's a smart holder not keeper and all smarts go into it.you keep all smarts in it and take them out when you need to send them either to people on the posting schedule or research international0
