Absolutely. One of my best sales was a deleted title Shakespeare video that somebody bought for £19.99!
DVDs are good to sell as they are so cheap to post.0 -
do the same costs apply?smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

Videos/DVDs have a lower postage cost but as they are all of similar weight you don't lose out on postage.0 -

Hi, I've got a question.
I've sold a few things on amazon, and today sold an item and then received an e-mail from the buyer saying they wish to cancel as they've made a mistake. I usually have a fast turn around posting things out and the item could have already been in the mail, but in this case I haven't.
Personally I think they have seen the item cheaper elsewhere and want to back out. To claim they completeed the whole check out process on amazon 'by mistake' is bs if you ask me.
What to do now? My payment is protected by amazon so they can't claim it back. Can I send the item then claim didn't receive their e-mail or that it was in my junk mail?
The above is a bit cheeky, but what do you think.
Great thread BTW

I would refund the item. But that is just me.0

I'm a bit of a sucker for a quiet life and I'd refund too --0

Anyone checked out nightswimmers thread on the new postage rates.
I think us book sellers are going to have to be very careful about what we send off in future as we could get stung big time with these new rates
I hope Amazon and the like are going to change their postage credits etc or it won't be worth our while listing anything!!AMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0033 come and join us :j make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the ebay and other auctions, car boot and jumble sales board0 -
I have just had a 4 out of 5 rating and I am slightly gutted! What really annoys me is the feedback said "Thanks a lot". The book was an old copy of a 1985 crime (gruesome) book which had some of the picture pages come away, but I stated this clearly on the listing. Also it was priced £3.73 cheaper than the only other copy on there!! Grrrr  My next one was 5 out of 5 and lovely though. People are so annoying sometimes.
Perhaps she expected it cellophane wrapped with an erormous satin bow, greetings card and a complimentary box of chocolates (note sarcasm).! Can anyone tell me if this has affected their selling or are people savvy enough to realise you just cannot please some people!Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01
