I hate this shop, full of stuff that cant be sold anywhere else, in hideous colours and styles... YUCK YUCK...and why is it that every TK MAXX I go into, so bloody hot all the time....
In this trusted place U can erase
Every tear that ever rolled down your weary face
All the time U waste in that paper chase
Is time better spent in these arms of mine

Thankfully the TK Maxx near me is very very well organised. I like browsing inside as there is always something different. I like buying socks from there, the odd household item, the odd pair of trainers and the odd item of clothing. The last time I brought a pair of jeans from their clearance section they still cost me £40. Excellent fit but hardly a bargain. I still justified it to myself as they fitted nicely, looked good with heels. Brought a pair of Tommy Hilfiger ones last week for £13 though. Will go well with my trainers.

I agree with Supersol, Brent Cross TKMaxx is the pits, also Wood Green, whatever time of day the place looks like a jumble sale, clothes strewn on the floor.........Hatfield Galleria is okay and have a very good homewares section. Always have a lovely selection of bedlinen, throwovers, pots & pans and bits and bobs. If you are looking for something a little different then its the place to do. Now a tip for tall gals. They currently have Long Tall Sally jackets in stock at £24.99 with the label Camer. On the inseam label with fibre content also a LTS one...............better than paying £79.99!!!!

    Total tkmaxx addict

Visit various stores in nw for variety: salford ( bit of a mess), bury(ok), oldham (nice), bolton (not so keen), the new one at denton (great), and manc centre (but don't like that one!)

tkmaxxx chills me out...an hour in there and I'm sorted

often buy stuff then change mind and take it back...

    HOW SAD AM I

I adore this store, but does anyone know which is the best in the North West of England?

The one on the Greyhound estate in Chester is really good. As it's an industrial unit there is loads of room to move around as opposed to the usual crammed inner city stores.

Slightly furth south, I was impressed by the one in the Bullring in Brum.
:idea:I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about:idea:

Agree, trace-j, the Maxx in the Bullring, Bham, is a great store - as is the one near Castle Vale. Been shopping there for the last four years and you can guarantee to walk home with absolute bargains - always top name brands (airwalk, quicksilver, o'neills, animal, etc) at decent prices that have last me til this day. Good job really considering i spend about £100 each time i go (will power is definitely required).

It's certainly a bit of a jumble sale but as long as you work your way down the aisles with speed and chuck whatever u fancy into the basket, you can easily disgard items that u have 2nd thoughts about b4 heading to the changing rooms.

Best to head there early in the morning b4 crowds pile in and the place becomes a tip.

Also, have found that not all stock is the same. One in particular is full of townie clothes, tracksuits and burberry caps, obviously appealing to the chavs who dominate the town centre. So peeps, don't judge them all by your local store. Retail parks are the places to go for variety.

Heard there is going to be a store opening in Blackburn - does anyone know if this is the case, or even if they expanding at the mo?
My views are irrelevant - censorship is alive & well!

Thats right howlash, there is suppose to be one opening in blackburn - not quite sure where- but they were advertising a job for a sales manager, for the new store, so hopefully be open soon!
