There was a Savill's residential auction in London yesterday, which probably explains the confusion:)
Yesterday's Lot 1 is in a lovely street not very far from me. It sold at £291k and was definitely not a job for a beginner: if you stood in the hallway you could see the sky.
The flat beneath (bigger, in considerably better condition and with sole use of the garden) was sold by an EA I know for £358k last year.
It seems auctions aren't always the place for bargains.0 -

I knew why the OP posted, what confused me is that I started a thread (which I don't do all that often) only two years ago and had to rack my brains to try and remember what flat I was talking about.
I remember now because I got a parking ticket (I think!). No I didn't. Not that time. I'm getting old! :eek:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
