Dear tenant,
I would like to offer you £100 per month for life in exchange for your tenancy agreement or £20,000 as a lump sum.

I love my home here. It's so convenient for everything. My mother lives round the corner and does my washing. My friends are next door. My boyfriend lives in the next road.
I have good neighbours here. We all look out for each other.
I don't want to move. £50,000 might convince me, but I can't make any promises.
Yours

There's nothing to stop you.
Rachman of course went one better by removing the roof and stairs while the tenants were out. I understand that they weren't always out of the house at the start of the process but generally were by the end.0 -

I was thinking of having a fire in the house and see where it went but your solutions may prove less illegal!0 -
