New Tesco 75% off Leaflets

If they wanted to use these coupons to increase the number of trips to the store, why not hand them out (one per purchase) to customers on say the Monday and Tuesday, then have the vouchers go live the rest of the offer period? And only valid within that store.
It's stupid the way it's set up. These in the know (including the staff) can make a real killing, while the non-MSE-ers and the general public do not have one clue. How on earth can that benefit sales?
I don't have any problem with differential pricing across stores, btw. It's always been the case that the prices and product range of a store are tweaked to fit the customer demographic, ever since RRP was abolished. There are national offers and local offers, always. Gawd help them if they all had to reduce the "reduced to clear" section by the same amount at the same time every day, for example!
Yeah, and I got six of these leaflets, so no axe to grind. My local branch gets them so I went straight to the tills, picked up three, no product but picked up another three on the way out with my shopping. Visited four Tescos until a tip hear allerted me to the fact that another branch in a town five miles from here were not doing this offer so I went there on the assumption they would have stock. Yup, and they had 25% free on their Persil too, so got my six. I could have had dozens if I'd wanted to play the system, but six is enough to keep me going in washing powder till the summer. Got six bottles of Robinsons too, but the kids will soon have that!
But my point is that I've got a car and a PC and I'm a member here, so I'm clued up. These deals work for me, but that's no great advantage to Tesco is it? I did not buy anything over my normal weeks shop even with all the gadding about, and I've complained at three customer service desks plus HO about the poor coordination of this offer already.
I bet these offers run a few weeks, then die off. Too much hassle. As soon as Tesco spot they're not increasing sales, then that will be it.Val.0 -

it would be fairer if they sent one out to each clubcard holder with their clubcard statement wouldn't it.I can never get these leaflets because I live in the country and can only shop monthly so by the time I get to a tesco any money offf leaflets are all gone.It costs me around £10 in petrol to go and fetch my shopping so it would be a good help.I'm not going to tesco for another week, maybe 2 so I'll miss out on these too probably  It makes me mad that I want to actually use them for the goods and can't, yet other folk can get them, but don't really want them so they sell them on ebay, good luck to them btw, it's tesco I'm mad at:mad:0

My local Ts never has any leaflets, but at the moment is permanently out of persil and Kingsmill 50/50. There are only 2 flavours of Robinsons - so someone is clearing the shelves. I cannot believe they've all gone to people who have bought them off ebay or travelled the country looking for mocs. I can only assume its the staff.
The same thing happened with H&B last year - leaflets only appeared when they were out of date.0 -

Hi all first question ever, I have go some of the leaflets for washing powder etc. In the leaflet they have john west red salmon for 57p. Went into store today to buy some and its up for 1.15 with any apology for the error. As they have advertised this nationwide in leaflets do they have to honour the advertised price???
Thankswins so far= galaxy bar, child of our time book, with love cd :T0 -
Finally found a voucher in Tesco PrescotExtra. Hade to ask at cutomer services. Nice lady said they had to remove them from display as people were taking 20 or 30 each. Would only give me one. But then no washing powder on the shelf, but lots of staff at the tills with trollyloads of the stuff. Tried 2 more branches before I got any - girl on the till looked amazed, asked where I got the voucher as non had ever been sent to their store, called over her supervisor to have a look. Challenge successful, but not worth the time, effort or expense.0
