How long did it take to track ?
Mmm forget that question it tracked within two hours"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

Just switched to EON from EDF-£55 Quidco and £180
cheaper per yr-Looks a no brainer-Dont know how long Online 5 will last at current price for but can always switch again. Sent E mail to EDF to confirm that tariff should not increase whilst transfer in process as per their letter.
when i did it earlier it said discount applies until april 2009
got £70 cashback through quidco
saving £230 a year over scottish power online energy 4
782 points on my tesco clubcard (worth about £30 in deals)

Martin's article states that the checkers are updated when changes are announced, not when they come in so although SE hasn't put the prices up (I am with SE currently) they have announced so it should all be taken into account...
They have announced they will not increase prices before the end of March. They have not said whether it would be 1% or 100% so how can any price increases be on a comparison site ?.0 -

Southern Electric Group should come out top on most peeps comparison chart, especially with a differential of 15% to 20%.
EON's own system is not impartial. They got mine wrong by £160 on a spend of £376pa, acccording to Energyhelpline and UK Power.
EON's extra saver 5 gas is 3.235pence for the first 1143 and 2.574 for the remainder...electric is 16.989 for the first 225 and 9.481 thereafter. Less 15% p.a. off for DD and Dual Fuel, tho this won't be off the VAT. If you know the exact consumption, work it out.0 -

I signed up with EON today after I cancelled my pending change to British Gas. I could not get my bank account details to be accepted by the Qudco link so I have had to print Direct Debit forms out. I am hoping the cash back will still go through as the rest of it was completed online, I was fed up of trying to make it work so decided to just take a chance in the end.0

How's everybody getting on with the switch?
I've not had any updates or request for information from eon.
However I have just checked my account now online and it looks like the Elec switch is complete although I'm a little concerned as they didn't ask me for meter readings.0 -
I am still having trouble setting up my direct debit. I phoned them today and they could not do it either so I have had to download a form. I have still not had the welcome pack it was apparently sent out on 13th Feb. They were sending me another one when I phoned 2 weeks ago, still not arrived. I requested another when I rang today my Electric is being switched on the 20th and the Gas on the 26th I was told today.0
