Ebay poor service

Bought an item off Ebay and paid for it straight away, seller took 7 days to send the item out yet i emailed them and they said they had sent it on the day the money cleared, yet it was post marked one day before i recd it.

I emailed her to question and look at the repsonse i got?

I think it would simply be better if I explain our feedback policy to you:

We leave feedback in a 'like for like' way. This means that if you leave posative for us, we will leave posative for you. If you leave nagative for us, we will negative for you.

What should i do about this,- it makes a mockery off the feedback system.
I paid for the item within 2 minutes of winning it- they dont dispatch the item until 7 days later, yet they are threatening me with Neg Feedback- they are in the wrong not me

Anyone any ideas?

Is that they only think i can do though? But its wrong though- people should be aware of how bad the seller is

Could they have meant they sent on the day the funds cleared into their bank account, not paypal account? Was it exactly 7 days from winning and paying until they sent the parcel?

I emailed her to question and look at the repsonse i got? What was in your email to her? I don't get why you would query when she sent it and she has replied banging on about feedback. Did you mention feedback in your email?!

You paid for the item and had received it within 8 days. That's pretty normal going to me.

What was the item & how was it posted? (first class/2nd class/recorded etc?)

If you won it on Saturday, they couldn't have posted it on Sunday unless it was small and they put it into a post box. If they did put it into a post box, it might well have not got post marked until Thursday, parcels & letters hang around God knows where for days sometimes.

Do you mind posting the item number?

Hi,

I would risk leaving factual feedback and if the do that to you follow it up saying you were told that if you left them back feedback they would do the same to you.

This is just what I would do, I know not all would agree with me but at least this way the feedback is truthful.

Personally I'd forward her message to ebay because I would view that as feedback extortion.

still not recd wed so i chase up and (royal mail special del) and i get the same reply
turns up friday post marked thursday.
Ive never left neg feedback- but its not fair if they are going to do the same to me!

anyone know how i can word things or does it not make any difference - r they just going to leave neg out of spite

Leave whatever feedback you were going to do anyway, or if you were not going to then don't.

Much though I don't like Ebay's change in feedback, this is one of the reasons they are bringing it in.
