Does anyone know how I go about speaking to lenders about something like a payment plan/freezing interest, or such like?0 -
The best people to speak to would be CCCS they are a free organisation who will negotiate with your creditors on your behalf. I must warn you though you will be inundated with phone calls from your creditors whilst a payment plan is being drawn up. These calls can sometimes really pull you down.0

Tell me about it. I was in the same position as you, hubby left me with debt and 2 kids, its taken me years to get it sorted and I'm not debt-free and saving like a trooper. It can be really hard sometimes and you wonder where the next penny is going to come from. I didn't go down the debt management plan route as I was able to keep on top of my repayments - just.....
Keep ploughing at it, you will get there.0
