If i wasnt guarnteed a neg for it..... id tell her "here have your money and shove the top up your backside! Next time you want something 110% perfect for under £3 go to primark... even then you'll probably find it will fall to bits after one wear/wash! So count yourself lucky!!"  BUT that IS my pregnancy hormones taking over and i would never be that nasty to a buyer... unfortunetly!:rotfl:
LMAO, oh go on, you know it will make you feel better and it's only Ebay feedback (not being horrible just pointing it out  I remember only too well how huge some things seemed when I was Pregnant (including my bum which still seems huge  )) It's so tempting with some ebayers isn't it? :rotfl:
A neg isn't the end of the world and it's NOT worth the stress esp while you pregnant!Good Enough Club member number 27(2) AND I got me a stalkee!

Personally I would (and have done) refund the original price along with the p&p. I think that if someone has bought something from me and it's not their fault if something goes wrong then it is only right that they are put back in the same position as when they started.
If I was really concerned about whether the buyer was trying it on, I would ask them to email me a picture of the damage. If I asked them to send it back and it was holed then I would refund all post and packaging costs to them.
Sometimes things are missed by sellers or things get damaged in the post, I do not think this is anything that the buyer should have to pay for.
As a buyer in this instance, I was very grateful when a seller did this for me when two little lampshades smashed in the post.

I’d be tempted to just refund in full and let her keep it rather than sending it back.
If I was a buyer and had to send something back I’d expect to have that refunded too0 -

I think that in this case the Buyer is being a pain in the $@%@
the buyer will get the full price paid for the item plus postage back in a paypal dispute
they wil be out of pocket for return postage costs though0 -
Does that apply in all circs? I have just gone to dispute over an item which was not the one advertised, they admitted they sent the wrong thing but then stopped responding to emails. I returned it, and have heard nothing more.0

I sell on ebay and occasionally I've told the buyer to just keep the item if there was a fault, because I wouldn't make a profit out of trying to resell it again after fees, and I've wanted to avoid getting a neg.
In this case though - make her send it back - you don't have to reimburse her for that postage! And make her do it recorded too, since she has to prove that she's sent it back by trackable means (otherwise paypal won't pay out). You'll have to refund the £2.84, but you can take some glee in the fact that she will have to pay the same postage to send it back to you (£1.20) PLUS the £0.60p that it will cost to send it recorded. From what you've said you're pretty much guaranteed to get a neg anyway, so you don't have anything to lose.0 -

Was it sent back tracked? My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I too would refund in full, afterall people can be malicious and leave negative feedback if not.
Sometimes if it's a small amount, I tell them to keep the item and then either refund them or send them something else just to keep them happy.0 -

In a paypal dispute the buyer gets the full amount originally paid back,so that includes the p and p paid. The only thing they do not get back is the return postage.
If there is any possibility that the goods are not exactly as described then tell the seller to send the item back and on receipt you will refund the original payment in full.
Once the paypal payment has been refunded unmark it as both paid and despatched in your ebay and then send a mutual reclaim of fees dispute to get your FVFs back. As long as you appear willing a friendly to help the buyer there should be no reason why they won't help you get your FVFs back. This, BTW is the ONLY time I ever advocate doing a mutual.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
