Digp..dont know what your problem has been but i know i cant wait for my contract with Orange to end. In my case their customer service team did not talk to each other.. each one i spoke to gave me conflicting and ALWAYS wrong advice.
At the end of May i bought and paid for a £50 international bundle. Bill in June did not have the international calling bundle added so i paid in full for my calls. Called customer service..oh dear they said..will have to send this to computer integrity department someone will call you back. One week later i called them again.. still with computer integrity dept. They acknowledge i did buy the bundle but dont know why it wasnt added, someone will call me back. Second week later i rang again..having not received any call back to be told that no action has yet been taken but advised to cancel direct debit before payment was taken. My next bill would sort it out and they would put a note on my account to explain non payment and someone would call me. One week later received collections notice. Rang collections dept. No note on my account, they had no idea of my problem but noted a £59 credit on my account which would wipe out my bill therefore i owe nothing till July's bill. Three days later online account suspended and i owe them £47.20?? Ring collections they claim i have never called them and i owe them money. Ring customers services, lady says i can see on my screen that you called collections on friday...they dont know what they are talking about..she says. So..so far no one in orange knows what they are talking about, i have done everything asked and still have collection notice and suspended account. Two days later another collections notice..ring collections again.. they say I have to pay the £47.20 before i can have my £59 credit because the computer cant back date the payment and even though i actually dont owe them anything until the end of July if i cont pay the £47.20 then my account will be suspended until i do and they cant do anything about that!! At this point i lost the will to live.. paid the £47.20 had my account unsuspended and now dont owe them anything until the end of August. Still waiting for a call back from anyone or the meerest hint of an apology..wont hold my breath. Contract over in Nov and then its goodbye Orange.
I know mistakes can happen...the mark of decent customer service is how you deal with the mistakes.. they failed miserably in my eyes.0 -
I've never had any problems with Orange, customer service is excellent and call quality and reception second to none0

Lucky you.
I found Orange customer services to be very good years ago when I first took out a contract with them but I've had nothing but trouble since.
Every time my Dad gets a phone upgrade there is a problem connecting the new sim. The last time they even kicked him off Everyday 50 without telling him. That took more than a dozen phone calls and a month to sort out. They always blame the phone supplier and so far it has ALWAYS been Orange's fault. To me now they are worse than useless because I know I can't even rely on the information they give me.0 -
how do people find the other networks in comparison?0

itotally agree with you they have messed around lately with my contract so i have wrote to them telling them i want to cancel my contract 6 months into it, i read it somewhere in the t&c's wether it will work ?? i dont know0 -
My experience of Orange was of terrible customer service, with them failing to communicate with each other and sometimes being downright rude. I also had major problems when I upgraded because the handsets they sent did not work. I had to change handsets three times (a pain when you've spent ages keying in all your contacts) and was told that the handsets were not even new (reconditioned). I swore I would never have an orange phone again and switched to BT but am also having problems with them! Grr!0

appaling customer services from Voda. One instance being, sat at home all day because they told me my replacement phone, (for the one they initial sent, that didn't work - and retail store wouldn't exchange even though I'd been told I could go in and exchange it!) phoned up at 5 to be told, that the phone had gone onto back order and I'd have to wait over a week before they'd have any more in....even though they have them in their stores.
Left hand / right hand don't know where the other is let alone talking to it!!!0 -
