    Hi Funky,
It would depend on ones interperatation of a misprice take this item as an example
    http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=9372383&fh_view_size=10&fh_start_index=10&fh_eds=%3f&fh_location=%2f%2fcatalog01%2fen_GB%2fcategories%3c%7b10082%7d%2fcategories%3c%7b10084%7d%2f_special_offers%3e%7bBigBqSale%7d&fh_refview=lister&ts=1203170328167&isSearch=false
It is for some sanding sheets which if you look at the Sales page it tells us we can save UP To 50%
However the items are priced at £2.30 and the page tells us that this is a saving of £4.68 !!! and this equates to a massive 68% saving
The question would be asked is this a misprice or do B&Q in fact sell heavily discounted items on a regular basis ?
It's not just about the money
  • Now that is the question !! lol

It would be to someone who's been scouring the internet looking for some and thinking they will be paying less than a 1/3rd of the price !
Bet they will be gutted too when they order some and it gets cancelled because B&Q decide it's a misprice
    :D

Not to worry Silk, I'm sure as a gesture of good will they'll be offered the item at the full non "sale" price minus a generous 10% discount. ;)

    Xmas Saver!
This is still better than eastenders, although not quite up to Corri, or Arsenal beeing booted out the FA cup (Spurs Fan). Looks like a legal drama could be written.... and is there any word from Johnathon mummies boy?? It's still gripping even the people who didn't buy, and look at the efort they are putting in to researching the responses!! Sod getting on Watchdog, write to the Drama department and see if they would commision it. Would the cash be enough for 230 x £3500?? (or whatever B +Q are selling it for now, with or without that 10% discount, regardless of whether you live inside the M25). Any ideas as to who to play the key characters?

In view of the recent replies telling us to give up - I personally would like to pursue if possible (and in view of the kodak case) more now out of principle of the matter because of how badly B&Q have handled it. I will be interested in hearing what consumer direct come back to me with, but in the meantime will write to B&Q complaints, although will not hold out much hope in getting much sense out of them. I can't say that I would be 'devastated' if I do not get my 'shed' nor will it swallow up vast amounts of my time, however B&Q need a telling off and should be sending out at least some vouchers as a sorry!

there seem to be plenty of people offering opinions on this,

As for myself, I stand by my guns, and will take the matter all the way if it comes down to it! I am the same today as last Saturday, I want my Garden Office, I do not want a couple of gift vouchers as compensation!

If individuals do not want to pursue, that is their option, which will not change mine, so good luck to all of you who wants to pursue

you of course may do what you want but as a new member you won't have seen many misprices on here all the long time members have and know you will not get anywhere with this if you want to waste your time and money over it but remember I have said this, you will not win everytime we get these misprices there are always new members that do exactly what your doing and they never get anywhere.
