I had a phone call from B& Q this morning to arrange the delivery of what is hopefully going to be the rest of my Wooden Play Castle. The slide was delivered last Mon.0

I have been following this from the beginning and thought I'd tell you what happened to me.
I ordered the Smoby multi-gym on the 20th July and received a confirmation e-mail immediately. Later on that week I got a phone call from the delivery company who said it would arrive at my house on the 1st of August. On the 28th July they phoned back telling me the item was out of stock. I then phoned B an Q who told me they would be back in within 7 - 14 days.
On the 4th of August I called again to be told they were discontinued. Apparantly they knew this on the 2nd of August but hadn't bothered to tell me. I spoke to a nice girl called Judith who admitted it was one giant balls up. I refused a refund, stating the "buyers contract" etc. She put through to someone else and we argued for a bit and he then informed me that my card had been refunded!! The sneaky b*****d!!!!
No offer of compo, just an address to write to. I have contacted Watchdog aswell, hopefully someone will sit up and take notice!!Inside me there is a thin women screaming to get out.................so I shut the !!!!!! up with a biscuit.:D0 -
had a phone call from the delivery company this afternoon to say that my delivery for the tyre/rope accessory had been cancelled due to stock issues....
DUH....well B and Q ,that's 2 things you have failed to deliver

Another order placed & sucessfully concluded on one of the dates that B&Q claim to have had a system failure?!?!?!?
How come then it accepted some of the orders on those dates & not others?

Sarahmoo- I'm here as a newbie because of this fiasco. Got directed here by a friend (already a member) that I was complaining about B&Q to.0 -
Well I have just given them a ring and have been passed around a bit. I spoke to a very nice lady who just kept telling me I would get a refund but I was in a que so it could take 30 days. These 30 days start from when they cancelled the order which was 3 weeks after I ordered it, so if it was out of stock back then why didn't they start the refund process straight away. This means they would of had my money for 7 weeks by the time I get my refund. She also confirmed to me the item could well of been in Stock when I ordered but it all depends on when the deleviery driver gos to collect the item.
So I am still not getting any where why have some people been offered a voucher?0 -
Has anyone who had a package missing from the Ben Nevis (3303917), actually received their missing parts yet?
I am supposedly getting it on wednesday, but seeing is believing. I rung up customer services in Doncaster (ie the 01302 number) and they say its in stock. Seeing as I lie in Doncaster I may just pay them a visit if it doesn't arrive!July Win: Nokia 58000 -
