Not always. When I phone a Three mobile my number usually comes up. However recently I had poor quality (now fixed by Primus) when my callee had "private number " (or similar ) come up(now fixed). But when ringing an Orange it came up with my number.
Someone in the know can probably answer this ,but I believe it depends how Primus route the calls , they use different suppliers ie "call terminators" and can change them around to a particular number .
When you phone someone regularly you can arrange a signal first (ie 2 rings) then phone back so they know its you , if "private number" displayed.
Primus bills
