We have a seperate bin for all recyclables in my area so yes they do get recycled. Although our recycle bin was sooooo stuffed with boxes and brown paper from all my .com orders last week that DH had to take some the local tip to recycle them

Do Boots really need to use so much of that brown paper. Sometimes they use a big box for items which take up about a third of the space and the rest is brown paper

I love that brown paper :rotfl: When I received my last delivery, the paper would have reached from my bed to the bottom of the stairs lol. So I concertinaed (sp??)d it, rolled it up, and it's about the size of a loo roll now. It's great for shredding for hampers :) and somehow, strangely therapeutic lol.

I have to admit that before the paper and the boxes go in the bin the kids do enjoy having a bit of a play with them!

They make good houses and tunnels. DD also likes to draw on them, lol.

Our 2 dogs also enjoy jumping over all of the paper in the hall.

It's very rare that I go shopping alone, so I send my sister or OH to the till :o:D Strangely enough, I never do this when it's a straightforward transaction! ;):D

And oh uses my advantage card, mainly because I ask him to lol.
i think ill send oh to the till too, he is a bit of a doughnut sometimes though so ill have to explain it very simply! then go hide at the other end of boots:rotfl:

No, you can't take make up back, so personally, I would say 'I'll not bother then' and try later at another shop/till

Got a letter from Boots Opticians this morning with the following vocuhers valid until 24/4/2008

1000 AC points when you take an eye test at boots opticians

Does it work for childrens eye tests? Both my kids are coming up for checks due.

Looking back to the sale I can't believe all the stuff I didn't choose. I had the choice of the R&M make up sets that were £12.50, sanctuary sets, winter collections which I pit back. I did have a good blitz on the toys but all the sets with pts vouchers inside etc etc.

I shall be much better behaved this year & grab everything.

I regret not buying enough stuff too! I got rather hooked on the R&M after I bought the big set for the brushes, and wish I'd got some of the smaller ones. And I regret all the Sanctuary items I didn't get too. I spent £70 in points and about another £50 in cash and I got some fabulous things but...not enough of some.

Yesterday I went through all my Boots bargains and can't believe that i didn't buy more when I had the chance. Already planning to take dh with me next year to help with the carrying!

I have now bought and wrapped xmas pressies for my nine nieces and nephews, mother in law, stocking fillers for 3 daughters and birthday pressies for various friends, all thanks to Boots!!!
