it was around lunchtime about 12.30 I think. I did shop1 upstairs but only had one voucher, shop 2 was downstairs with a few vouchers.:D

I'm still only doing simple transactions and have it all planned in my head beforehand. Saying that if ever the till beeps at me......:rotfl:

pmsl ive been doing it for years and i even had a list in my hand of which things to put through with which freebies and vouchers etc but then the little one bumped his head off my basket and cried, then started dancing and singing around the aisle while dh and the SAs stood and laughed, i was flustered and just wanted to get out incase i drew too much attention!! :rotfl:

Did you get any of the 400 points on your Q10s? and how many points did you make in all?


Sob .no I didnt know about the Q10 points where can i get voucher for this as they had more. I always get it wrong i need a bootsing mentor.:o

in durham they had some nivea night cream reduced from 9.99 to 2.38 - well worth it and i know theres no extra points but at that price its nice for christmas baskets etc. It was a permanent mark down on the shelf too so should be in all stores....

I get flustered too. My trouble is that I have so many vouchers for so many stores that I have a special wallet for them...there's a big section for all my Boots ones. I usually get the vouchers out before going to the till point, but then if I remember I have another one to try I have to display this bulging pile of evidence that I'm a manic bargain hunter to the SA. As I try my best to look mildly dim but enthusiastically harmless to SAs while sliding over all my vouchers I feel this is a dead givaway.

I'm also now starting to feel paranoid about the security guard watching me after all these horror stories on here, especially after I've bought stuff, gone back to the car to strip out any vouchers then come back in again to spend them! Which probably makes me look even more shifty.:rolleyes:

Just had a really positive experience in my 'local' Boots store. I always go to London Colney as my nearest Boots in Welwyn hardly ever has anything in.

Anyway, went in today to get some bits and needed some makeup as I'm matron of honour at my best friends wedding tomorrow. Plus I wanted to use my £5 voucher and the illumination powder. Got to the stand and for the first time ever the No7 girl came up and asked whether I wanted any help. I said yes as I don't wear makeup and I'm not sure what to get. She took me through several bits and we settled on a light foundation, the illuminating powder and then she went and got me the GWP. I asked for some advice on lippy as well and she recommended one. However, she then pointed out that although it was marked at £9.50 for some strange reason it went through at £4.50. She then checked to see if she was right and she was! :A

When I went to pay the lovely SA made sure I used all the coupons I could by asking if I had such and such. Then when she scanned the illuminating powder she actually told me to get a magazine and tear out the voucher to get it free! :T She said the magazine is for Boots customers so I may as well use it. Who was I to disagree. She was an absolute star. I also tried the Sanctaury £3 off from the GWP but this wouldn't scan so she gave me £3 cash from the till! :A

I have to say that I've never had any problems with SA in the London Colney Boots they've all been lovely. It's great when you get such excellent customer service.

Also if anyone 'local' is after the No7 gift sets with the P&P they have loads on the No7 stand.

Does anyone know if they have updated the stock online today during the day? what time do they normally up date in the date?

i used the illum voucher yesterday when i bought some foundation which was £14.50 i think and the SA refused to give me the free pink box because i was only spending £14.50. i was so mad!
