  • Hi

I walked through my local Boots this morning and noticed a display of Valentines gifts such as Accessorize gift boxes, Soap and Glory, Ted Baker etc. They may have done this in previous years but I've never noticed before.

I was wondering if anyone knows if these will go on sale after Valentines as the Xmas stuff did in January?

Any thoughts (especially if you work in Boots)?

Sorry for not replying in the other thread, but I'd never heard of them before lol, but they're here:

    http://www.boots.com/guidedsearch/newsearch.jsp?searchArea=1&searchTerm=No7+sorbet&uri=%2Fbrandrooms%2Fbrandroom_header_left.jsp&classificationId=&contentId=&articleId=&N=0&Ntk=all&Nty=1&Go.x=18&Go.y=9

I've no idea about the vouchers etc - still learning! :)

I've just read your other post. I know some people don't like to see SA's slated, and I don't like to see them named or identified in anyway, but I've a feeling that you and I might have encountered the same SA's.

I'd say that 95% of them in that particular store are excellent, but unfortunately the other 5% can easily spoil what should be a good day's Boots shop. Last week (and this!) I avoided the ones who can be a bit 'off', but jotted down the names of the friendly and polite ones so I can mail CS without complaining lol.

Thanks for the new thread crazyposhgal :)

    Hi Passion:D x

I didn't want to name and shame any particular SA's in our store and didn't. I just can't get my head round how they get their perks etc sometimes not in the right way ......CS words not mine, yet want to talk to and treat us the way they do. Has another poster pointed out the SA's have a job to do I appreciate that but I do not talk to them in a bad way if I don't get what I want etc. I expect the same respect back that's all. I'm not robbing the company or stealing and don't appreciate Sa'a making me feel like that. That is NOT in their job description.

    Sorry for the moan x

I hope they do go down but I don't suppose they will go down until after Mothers Day. That's if they do....

ARrrggghhhhhh £9.93 £9.97 and £9.87 - didnt realise until i had handed over the money that if i had shoved some gum or something on that i would have gotten another £5 voucher each time!! Was in a little world of my own making sure i had used all the vouchers necessary and making sure the No7 SA wasnt lurking! Must remember to keep calm next time! :rotfl:

Lol, we all need a good rant every now and then ;)

At Kingswood I received one of those till spit things for a survey. It's just a shame that it wasn't from the other store or I'd have really had a good rant ;) As it was, the transaction it came with was given to me (via the till of course :)) by a really lovely SA. Sod's Law I guess.

    Discount diva

I thought that they were more suited towards Valentine's Day, and thought they might be reduced later too ;) So I opted for the Mobile Foam set and was pleased I did :)

  • I am now ready for my shop tomorrow with my notes on what to buy and which vouchers to use but am I better going through the ordinary checkouts or go to the No7 counter? I will be buying all No7 stuff to use 7 vouchers and I will be going to the boots in Eldon Square Newcastle.

    Thank you for any help.
