I went in today with my highlights voucher. I put my card in machine and it was giving 100 points for no 7 dream lash mascara. I bought the mascara and got the points and highlighter powder free. (normal till not no7) As it is youngests daughters 15th birthday soon thought both okay for her. I then went to no 7 stand to spend the £5 and chose her an eye pencil. Handed over the pencil and £2 coin. The assistants were cutting out the highlighter vouchers from the mags and she gave me another powder different to the one I had just got. So I have 4 things to put in gift bag with my daughters present. I also went in later and they had added some more clearance things to a small shelf. I got travel first aid kit 50p , small pack of wipes 10p, venus divine razor with 2 blades £1 and pack jazzy emery boards for 50p so did okay today
  • Hi everyone! Well went bootsin for the first time in about 9 months...and it didnt work :( Gutted! I tried to get the boots no7 illuminating powder (which was being stashed behind the tills of the no7 counter!), a no7 body brush and the gwp. Added a shed load of other stuff to my basket...handed over the £5 no7 voucher and illuminating voucher from mag to unsuspecting saturday girl...but it wouldnt deduct the illuminating powder voucher. She then started to call someone over...what a nightmare! Just had to ask her to leave it, but spent £20 on the other items on basket. Nevermind! I can only suppose it was the body brush that wasnt compatible with the illuminating voucher. Just have to try again when I have the courage! A couple of years ago you could get away with loads in boots...I had so much stuff I could have opened up a retail outlet! But last year they were starting to get wise...and the birth of my third baby sort of put a halt to it all...but Im unsure as to whether Ill be able to get away with a much as I used to!

Don't give up, even the sales assistants are miffed by the rules of an advantage card and vouchers, i was told that they do 10 or more a day each of till mistakes due to the card and the vouchers.

  • Gutted, managed to get a toni & guy weekender set the other day on the internet. Arrived yesterday. Opened it just now and they've sent me a blood pressure monitor instead. Really unhappy as I brought the weekender set for my neice's 21st birthday present as her bf is taking her away and thought it would be good gift. None left as it was in the sale. ARRGGGHHHHH. Tried to phone them but they are closed now so will have to wait til morning. I want to cry

Sounds like the one packing your order had a sense of humour or a death wish, your little icon is red, it needs the blood pressure monitor.

Ring first thing monday morning, tell them how upset you are:eek:

I was there today at the bull ring one, managed to get the gwp 2 times one SA was kind enough to rip out a higlighter voucher for someone else.. If you do attempt it Id suggest waiting till next sat when there busy and want you to just hurry up, when its empty everyones just watching you, luckily the No 7 SA was on her break so I got served by the perfume man.
