:( Damn, I was planning on going to Cheshire Oaks today for the P&P sets! Meant to go yesterday but lost my debit card so spent all afternoon looking for it (still haven't found it).

    Sam and Clare

Need to 'fess up - it was me who bought the last p&p set in Cheshire Oaks.

I was going to have a good look around Liverpool boots on Thursday when I went over to meet a friend for lunch, but was summonsed back to look after my nephew, so didn't get chance.

I was feeling withdrawal symptoms and I had a sanctuary £3 coupon burning a hole in my pocket, so on a whim I just nipped into Cheshire Oaks as it's only round the corner from me. When I got there I found I'd forgotten my voucher - doh!!!! and that's when I saw this lonely p&p set all on it's own, I know I've bought three as presents, but decided to treat myself seeing as at least I did have the pink no7 £5 voucher with me.

So sorry about that, it was me that ate all the pies (ok the P&P):o :o:o

Sam, I hope you've found your card now. I left my acm card in the machine yesterday when I went to get my 75 points on spend and the staff knew it was mine while I was queueing before I'd even noticed - they prolly thought here she is again, the voucher queen hee hee!!

But best of all the lad didn't think any of the 250 points No7 vouchers had gone on....so he added all three manually at the end - but in fact I knew they had added on okay and just played dumb.

So................for £86.02 worth of shopping (£185.02 if those GWPs are really worth £33 each;)) I paid a total of £23.38 and received £28.41 in points back on my card

The woman behind me in the queue....said "Oh my God...how did she do that":rotfl:and the young lad serving me said "wow you have done really well, but that's what these offers are there for" Lovely chap. Would have nominated him for staff member of the year he was so patient putting through my three shops.

Then I got three till survey spits in a row!
Boots card balance now at £147.....I am so loving this:T

Just another moan about the £3 off voucher that comes in the latest GWP. I have three of the GWP already so decided to use one voucher on a standard size Body Butter at £6.95. I just had this one item and the one voucher but the till still beeped. Very nice SA scrutinised the voucher, agreed there was no reason whatsoever why it shouldn't work and trotted off to find a supervisor. Supervisor was busy, so got the duty manager instead...they scanned it another two or three times then eventually DM put the voucher through manually for me.

I think several other folk have had trouble with these vouchers, so it's probably going to be awkward just slipping them through in a bunch of other vouchers, alas. Or trying to get the GWP in a deal invloving this voucher. Or has anyone had better sucess than me?

Havn't read this anywere here but ive just had an e-mail saying that if you a boots health club member you can now get over 50 products half price everytime you shop online just like instore. (have checked and its the same products as instore too)
all you do is add a code to get them half price, see here:

IIRC the packaging has changed - the old stuff is marked accordingly.

If you find the newer stock with the £6.79 label that is what you will be charged.

You need to hunt through the reduced gear for the old nivea stock.

  • Hi everyone! Well went bootsin for the first time in about 9 months...and it didnt work :( Gutted! I tried to get the boots no7 illuminating powder (which was being stashed behind the tills of the no7 counter!), a no7 body brush and the gwp. Added a shed load of other stuff to my basket...handed over the £5 no7 voucher and illuminating voucher from mag to unsuspecting saturday girl...but it wouldnt deduct the illuminating powder voucher. She then started to call someone over...what a nightmare! Just had to ask her to leave it, but spent £20 on the other items on basket. Nevermind! I can only suppose it was the body brush that wasnt compatible with the illuminating voucher. Just have to try again when I have the courage! A couple of years ago you could get away with loads in boots...I had so much stuff I could have opened up a retail outlet! But last year they were starting to get wise...and the birth of my third baby sort of put a halt to it all...but Im unsure as to whether Ill be able to get away with a much as I used to!
