I have been away for a while now as been busy collecting tesco points but thought it was time I returned to boots! Is there anything good happening at the moment?

Went to Trafford Centre last night - picked up what appeared the last on the display P&P set. SA on tills near the main door was fab. I had the P&P set, GWP, an Ilum, a magazine. Before I had chance give her my vouchers (£5 No7, free Illum, 250points No7,75 points £10spend), she had opened the back of the magazine to scan the Illum voucher in there!
Unfortunately the Illum voucher wouldn't scan with the P&P set so I left it for another time. She also had to manually add 250 points. No problem with GWP on £15 spend. Really nice helpful girl.

Had a good shop yesterday, noticed that some of the minimode clothing has been reduced to just £1! Bought a long sleeve top, t-shirt & some socks for my son! Really doesn't need more clothes, but at £1 I couldn't not buy them!

Also bought a NO7 foundation, illum & GWP, simple shampoo & conditioner reduced to 75p each from £2.99, & some sweets etc to bring total over £10... to get 75 points for £10 spend & NO7 £5 voucher:D !

However, there is a problem with the clothing going through the till... only 1 item charged for, so SA said she needed to put the through seperately. I explained that I didn't want them put through seperately as I wanted the 75 points & NO7 voucher, but she said there was nothing she could do, that it was a problem with the tills & I couldn't have them:eek: ! Another SA agreed with me & she gave me them both... much to the annoyance of the 1st SA... whose face had been a picture when I gave illum voucher & £5 NO7 voucher & total reduced from £26 to £10.88!:rotfl:

Anyway, might be worth a peek at the clothing for £1 & if buying more than 1 & SA doesn't realise, then some might be free!;)

I was in watford on wednesday and didn't see the p&P set in either waterfields or harlequin....they didn't have the dream lash in black in harlequin and then they had mascara in waterfields but no illum powder! lol

I called ahead to london colney and they'v got 5 left!

Warning - ACMs wipe out all the offers on your card!

After having some issues with the Meal Deal offer earlier in the week I emailed Boots customer services and a nice man called me back to explain that there's currently a problem with the ACMs in that when you put your card in them all the offers on your card get wiped off. This includes:

1) The Meal Deal Offer - the number you've bought already in a month is reset to zero.
2) The half price Health Club offer
3) I think the fact that I've used my double points coupon once already has also been wiped, but since they wrote on the coupon when I used it the first time I don't think I'll be able to get away with using it two more times.

They're currently working on a fix, but they don't know when that will be done. In the meantime I can only use my card in the machine immediately after buying Meal Deal number 6. I was told that they can re-activate the Health Club membership with a code in-store and that if the stores have any problems they should call head office.

Oh, he also said that an email was sent around the head office helpdesk people a couple of days ago so they should all be aware of it if you have had any problems already and need to contact them.

Didn't bother making up the spend to £20 to get the gwp as not really that impressed with it and so not prepared to hand over an EXTRA £6.50 in cash to get it. Only want to get things that I will use and they are all priced £6.50 each.
So-
2 x no7 things @ £6.50 + illuminating powder to get the total over £20 for the GWP.
Less powder voucher and £5 voucher leaves £8 to pay. No way hose!

ps- had a .com delivery today and even though I had ordered things showing the free 'palmolive sample' nothing has arrived??

Thanks very much for pointing out about buying something you want, highlighter and using voucher... i have been sat here trying to think of something to get to try the GWP but i dont really like it either... I will do it once to get the mascara then after than i think ill do the 6.50 things too :T I'm pleased you reminded me of this :A
