    Hi folks...

Well back from London and phew what a long 3 days that was...my feet are still killing me haha *phew*All that walking n shopping etc. takes a toll on ones feet lol.

Anyways...I went to a few Boots and had NO problem following the tips I've gotten from some of you Boot-a-holics.
I got the No7 Stay Perfect Foundation and Highlighter.
I handed over the free highlighter voucher, also the £5 off voucher and got the GWP too. :T and I paid at the pharmacy with NO problems. I have to say I was a bit nervous waiting for the til to go BEEP but it didn't :j

2nd shop I went to the No7 til and just bought some eyeliner and handed over the voucher and she was actually a nice lady. *phew* I paid a whole 0p hehe.

3rd shop I sent my husband which was for him...the No7 mens facewash. It cost him a wooping £1.00.

AND on my last shop I was just buying the No7 Quick Cover Blemish Stick and handed over another £5 off voucher and it came to 97p!! I think this was a glitch because on the shelf it said £7.00 and when I went to pay it came up £5.96 and only had to pay 96p !

I know it's not some huge shops but I damn happy I got some good make-up for almost nothing!

My hubby was a bit shocked saying "WOW that was some good bargains today at Boots. I think I can see how you ladies like to bargain hunt.I said babe...it's the perfect sport for us gals :rotfl:
:D *If you like the advice I give...let me know by clicking the THANKS button* :D

Had a good shop yesterday, noticed that some of the minimode clothing has been reduced to just £1! Bought a long sleeve top, t-shirt & some socks for my son! Really doesn't need more clothes, but at £1 I couldn't not buy them!

Also bought a NO7 foundation, illum & GWP, simple shampoo & conditioner reduced to 75p each from £2.99, & some sweets etc to bring total over £10... to get 75 points for £10 spend & NO7 £5 voucher:D !

However, there is a problem with the clothing going through the till... only 1 item charged for, so SA said she needed to put the through seperately. I explained that I didn't want them put through seperately as I wanted the 75 points & NO7 voucher, but she said there was nothing she could do, that it was a problem with the tills & I couldn't have them:eek: ! Another SA agreed with me & she gave me them both... much to the annoyance of the 1st SA... whose face had been a picture when I gave illum voucher & £5 NO7 voucher & total reduced from £26 to £10.88!:rotfl:

Anyway, might be worth a peek at the clothing for £1 & if buying more than 1 & SA doesn't realise, then some might be free!;)

i noticed in the merry hill store that all the reduced clothes are also bogof!

Just another moan about the £3 off voucher that comes in the latest GWP.

I think several other folk have had trouble with these vouchers, so it's probably going to be awkward just slipping them through in a bunch of other vouchers, alas. Or trying to get the GWP in a deal invloving this voucher. Or has anyone had better sucess than me?

Just a reminder if anyone has any of the Sanctuary Weekend bag (£10) that was a GWP last year - these have a £3 voucher in as well, expires March 08 I think. I'd got a couple of these and had stashed them away in my "Presents" cupboard, and it was only when someone from here mentioned the vouchers that I retrieved them and found the vouchers - so I need to use these before the ones from the current GWP as they have an earlier expiry date. Do you more experienced Bootsers know whether the Sanctuary GWPs always include money off vouchers - makes them even more desirable - but I agree it's a pain if they don't go through the till properly. I've used one from the current GWP and I think it scanned without any problem, but maybe I was just lucky that time.

we always seem to be last at getting stuff up here in the north east
i asked about these last week and the SA said she thought they were a previous GWP...i had to explain what was in them and she said she had never heard about them...and she was the No 7 SA!!!!!!

The eye cream is a full size, RRP £19.95 and the wipes are a full sized pack, £5.99 so it's not like some of the GWPs where you just get tiny little tubes of the creams. RoC stuff is expensive and it's hard finding something to take you just over the required £15 spend, but there are still some sets (left over from Christmas I think) Hydra plus range for £22.95. I tried this one in Glos boots last Sun and it wouldn't scan, the SA checked with a supervisor and they wouldn't believe the SEL at £22.95 as they said they thought it should be much more expensive, and refused to sell it to me - somewhat miffed!! Instead I bought the Retinox+ 12 week challenge pack - this has 2 night creams which are normally £24.95 each, plus a £5 off next purchase, for £29.95 so you are getting the night creams BOGOF effectively and can then use the £5 off voucher on another purchase for another GWP.
Sorry for a long post, but it's a lovely gift.

Just seen you could buy 2 cleansers and spend £15:18 and get the gift! px_trans.gif

    Hi everyone:)

I couldn't find any reduced Q10 but got 400 points for Nivea Anti-wrinkle Q10 plus Cleansing Lotion which is £4.99 so not bad for me lol - (I'm such a novice). A bonus was the Nivea facial wipes that were reduced from £3.19 to 80p ....! (Prospect - Hull).

Also managed to get the GWP and highlighter by buying 2 x Mens no 7 stuff at £6 each, and 1 x Fish Platinum 20 Eau de Cologne on 1/3 off, so down to £5.99 from £8.99.

So all in all, in that one transaction, got:

    Highlighter ...£10.25
    Mens No7 post-shave balm ... £6
    Mens No7 anti-friction shaving gel ... £6
    Fish eau de Cologne ...£5.99

Handed over: 250 No7 points from previous GWP
Then £10.25 voucher from H&B magazine
Then £5.00 off No7 stuff voucher
Then 50 points voucher from ACM

Actual cost ...£12.99 (Should have been £28.24)
    Points ...336
And another £5 off No7, R&M etc voucher.

(Hope that makes sense? I really need to thank a poster from Durham whose post made a lot of sense to me, so will do that when I find it.)

As it was more of a spending spree for oh rather than me, repeated this 3 times lol. (Different shops though! ;))

BUT the best part of the day was when I spotted a lady with a P&P 30ml beauty serum in her hand.

She was trying to make her purchase up to £20 (and she didn't want any mens stuff lol), so I said she'd be better buying the £20 P&P gift set as it already contained the 30ml of P&P and had loads of extras. The SA's face, who was just about to take the lady's money, was a picture! - but she offered to get the set. (She also had something to say about me I'll bet lol).

The sad thing is - the SA could have done this without prompting from me couldn't she? But at least I made one lady happy lol. I won't be going back to that store on a Saturday for a while ;)

Plenty of magazines (which I forgot to pick up :o , the cucumber range was reduced to 35p again, but still no reduced wipes. There were some other reductions, which I can't remember off the top of my head. I'll post again if there was anything worth noting.

Received the Sanctuary GWP by buying the Mandular Treatment Set, so both sets cost £12.50 in total.

I know I spent more than I could have to get the extra points etc, but I really enjoyed seeing those points add up, and getting loads of extra gifts for Christmas & birthday hampers, and presents :D

At this rate, I'll soon be a fully-fledged Boots tart :);)

Sorry for the long-winded post but hope it helps someone. I've just looked at the thread and there's loads of posts to read ..... woo hoo :D
