hi have just been to boots and got couple number 7 things which came to £24 little one started screaming at this point so wasnt really paying attention but i handed over the illum coupon and the £5 off paid took the bag and stuck it under pushchair have just come home and realised i wasnt given the gwp has anyone else had this?

thats the joys of this boots thread - you can give an opinion and it not turn into an argument We will agree to disagree on this one and go about our bargains once again - must go line up those free palmolive showergels to look pretty before i put them in the goodie box!

The bar codes are printed on the packaging by the manufacturers, unless it was packaged specifically for Boots/Asda' Tesco or whoever, they can't possibly know which chain is going to buy which particular bottle. So the barcodes are not linked to a particular chain of shops.

I am glad you haven't taken my comments the wrong way.

There are a lot of things my conscience wouldn't let me do too, but in this particular case, it doesn't bother me, as Boots are not losing by it. Asda have the same policy, if you buy something (not fresh foods for obvious reasons), even if it is not their brand, and take it back, even without a receipt, as long as it is something they sell, they will exchange it.

They do say Boots on them.
It seems hap hazard as to how many vouchers you get, I got 15 palmolives, but only got 5 vouchers, others seem to have got as many vouchers as they got Palmolives, I think the packers just pick up a handful and dropthem in the boxes.
