"Break".............Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

You can use this number to ring them from inclusive minutes from a mobile:
01635 774 801
I tried it, and it worked ok (it apparently didn't register with them as a mobile phone as I didn't get a text message).
So far so good.
Unfortunately the number they gave me was incorrect, (I had asked for my local library's number), I waskept on hold for a long time prior to speaking to the lady (the call took over 7 minutes), (oh - and the promotional message I got was asking me if I was interested in advertising with them!)0
