I got a phone call today from this number;

+13522190069

I didn't answer it, because I didn't recognise it. I have had two or three similar calls in the past, spaced over a few months (I didn't answer them either).

It's a weird format. Can anyone shed any light on it?

Thought: could it be vodafone trying to sell me something?

Could be coming from Flint/Mold in Wales 013522. Could be that the presentation number has been spoofed,or its being presented in the wrong format

sometimes answering a call you dont recognise can cost you a fortune because of scams .. but if in doubt why not use a phone boxwith a 50p in it and if its a scam or con they only get your 50p but if its someone trying to contact you then you will know
Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.

As PF said it appears to be a number from Wales, see below

    01352

    Mold
Section: Codes in Range 1000-1999 (Mainly Geographic, Convention B3)

A table of the code allocations for numbers starting 01352 is available

    Exchanges in this area:

    Caersws (Clwyd) 01352
    Flint 01352
    Halkyn 01352
    Holywell 01352
    Llanferres 01352
    Mold 01352
    Northop 01352
    Pontybodkin 01352

Sometimes if people are using other operators to make cheaper calls they are presented this way as the call can sometimes be routed abroad first.

Is not "+1" the dialling code for North America?

You'll find if you call it that you get connected to a number in Florida

Normally it'd be written over there as 1-352 219 0069

    It covers the following areas:

Beverly Hills, Bronson, Brooksville, Clermont, Cross City, Dade City, Eustis, Gainesville, Inverness, Keystone Heights, Lady Lake, Leesburg, Mount Dora, Ocala, Spring Hill, Tavares
There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't

In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice

    Don't think it is Mold - the number is 12 digits .. 01352 219 0069

UK numbers are usually 11 digita maximum.

All Mold numbers that I know (have friends there) are 11 digits including the code.
