why don't you pop it under your pillow and say the tooth fairy must've gone to the wrong bedroom Tig.... ahem, not that i would ever forget such a thing!

And don't be like me and leave a £2 out of guilt, you'll only set a precedent!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Morning all!! Grey old day here today.

Off out as soon as the washing machine stops - almost went out when I first started it - good job I didnt, it started a grinding noise and I knew it meant that some underwiring had come out and was trapped between the drum and the outside of the drum - yep! Had to use mole grips to get it out, it was well and truly stuck, dread to think what might have happened if I'd have gone out, it was a right old nasty noise![/quote

my washing kept tripping the leccy everytime i put it on repair man came out and guess what he found inbetween the drum and the inside of the machine, i still stood there and said !!!!!! is THAT i was a little :o when he said it was a bra underwire :D

    afternoon everyone
i'm a bit late today as hubby is skiving this morning so we went for a walk together and ive come back and had a shower and some food he is now 'resting his eyes' on the sofa:rolleyes:

while i am getting all my washing/ironing done as from tomorrow afternoon i'm outta here overnight so the house kids and hubby can be forgot about while i have a bottle of cherryade at my mates;)

Jacs & Keren - I took the washing out of the machine the other day and found a bra that had gone floppy on one side.....hasn't made a horrid noise yet, but I have told DF that there's a wire missing in the wash :o

Tig - I had to write "sorry" letters to the tooth fairy several times when the DS's were small - but I think the best excuse line was that DS1 had swallowed his tooth when it came out overnight - honest! :D

Lovely day up here - blue sky, sunny, not too cold.....probably raining for the weekend then :(

Hi all, having a good day so far, I'm away tonight back home tomorrow for a course. Am sort of looking forward to it and having a meal tonight with my work friends will be good fun. It's a difficult course tomorrow though and is strict pass/fail. We have a text book we need to read from cover to cover and I haven't done that yet:o . Really regretting booking myself on it, work have paid for the course (£145) but I need to pay travel/meal/hotel costs so I reckon I'll be out of pocket by around £100:mad: .
    Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T
  • Hi everyone! Not sure how today's going to turnout. On a positive note, Sainburys have written to me offering to refund me £250 worth of reclaimed credit card charge that accrued when I was out of work (It's half of what I asked for). So, I'll need to read up on the test case and decide what I want to do next.

On a bad note, my darling wee cat is still in the vets getting her teeth out and stitches put in. Poor wee love. I'm afraid I'm one of those who worships the ground her little furry paws walk on, so can't wait to take her home tonight and look after her.

Do you think cats have a tooth fairy?!
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

OMG Floss, if I told DD that she'd be worried sick all day that she would be ill!!!!

TigTag - the tooth fairy has 'forgotten' to come sooooo many times in our house that the twins began to believe that she had had a busy night and would there the next night - so I had to remember then:o

    Hi peeps!

Keren - just as you're looking for a job, I'm preparing to leave mine! When 5:15 comes you won't see me for dust! (Although admittedly they will see me tomorrow when we all go for my leaving do.)

Oooh, Keren, you could have Ginger's job!

(I think he does something manly to do with trains and engineering, but hey, a job's a job!) :D

I do the structural engineering for bridges, railway stations etc. All you need to remember is "Weight times length squared over eight", and the jobs a good one! :money:
