    Not until I get
    a) My normal cashback paid
    b) My 10% cashback off booking my holiday in their latest promotion.

    Then I might consider it.

Let's make it an individual decision eh?

Don't forget that Egg employs quite a lot of people in the UK too , so there would be consequences in the UK if they were sent packing!

Why doesn't one of you make an official complain to the Office of fair trading so that there can be a formal investgation rather than expecting happy customers to fall on their swords and lose lost of other people their jobs (these might be people with families and babies who lsoe their homes as a result).

If you are unhappy then kick up a fuss by all means but do it in a constructive manner that might acheive something.
  • Unfortunately, Egg is actually extremely convenient for me in the facilities it provides. Therefore, boycotting it would be bad for me. I admit that the situation isn't the best for a lot of people and I don't agree with their credit removal practises but I suspect that Egg won't be the only ones to make such a move. Other companies may however choose to be a little more subtle.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Well, as they don't want me anymore I've got to take my business elsewhere! I've applied for the HSBC card Martin recommends if you intend to pay off in 2 years, which I do.

Just ditched them today, they have been going downhill since before Citi took them over, taking payments at random times, rubbish customer service etc .They used to be one of the good ones.
Things will only get worse had a Citi card before and they are just incompetent sharks they actually went to court over charges and their useless solicitor turned up with someone elses account details but didn't realise and carried on with his case refering to me as Mr Cranham and then when it came down to the figures they were nothing like what I was claiming and everyone realised that the fool had the wrong info. Strangely enough they made judgement in my favour.
They later tried to have the judgement set aside but it was turned down as it turned out they had used two different solicitors who made claims for two different amounts.

Were you another account holder who didnt stick to the terms and conditions then or were Egg to blame for your overcharging.
