"wheres It?"

Those two words were the entire message I received this morning from a buyer, who won a CD on Monday night that was posted on Tuesday afternoon. (at least they spelt "where" correctly, albeit omitting the apostrophe!)
It was sent at 3am this morning, so not even allowed for the morning post (if they even get post in the morning) so I'm guessing that this will be classed as a slow dispatch, and going forward could even be a grey 'un on the feedback score.
I've not replied yet - I'm debating whether to send a long winded, but very eloquent message on dispatch times and etiquette, or just reply with "WHERES WHAT?"
Note to all buyers - being polite does not cost extra, and is more likely to get a better response.

or reply with "ON WAY" lol!
I hardly think if it was won on monday night it could be classed as slow dispatch, I would have thought if it arrived today it would be a quick delivery. And if any comment was made in the feedback you could leave extra information along the lines of "won on monday eve, recieved thurs" if it arrives with the buyer today.finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!0 -
Three times in 5hrs I had a question from an American buyer about the postage cost to the USA. This was overnight on Tuesday.
First one went:
'Postage cost to US?'
Second one went:
'Again, Postage Cost to US'
Third was:
'Give me postage to US, NOW'
All he got was put on my Blocked Bidder list
I hate people who can't even be bothered to type 'please' or 'thanks'.0 -
To the east of Fr and shaped like a boot! :rotfl:
It's wonderful when you do same day despatch and that's still not fast enough for some customers!
I did sell an item on a Saturday afternoon once and noticed that the address was on the way to town where I was going later, so I hand delivered it 2 hours after the sale. He left me a positive but moaned that I'd charged him postage and didn't post it :mad:0 -

Oh the yanks, gotta love em. My favourite is when they ask for shipping cost to their individual zip code like it will somehow be a different cost to my listed USA shipping cost.
And then they insist on knowing what the cost is in dollars even though ebay shows them this in brackets, no other currency exists to many of them.
And as for Canadians, don't get me started there! "Will this item fit my 11 year old daughter?" :T0 -
i had a customer out on my delivery screaming and ranting that i MUST have a special delivery for her.
after 10 minutes of telling her i didnt and her saying she had paid for SD on an ebay item i found out she had won it @ 11pm the night before.
this was 9am on a saturday morning :rolleyes:0 -
i had a customer order on xmas day, and then get an angry email on boxing day afternoon asking why she hadnt received it! makes you laugh to be honest0

Don't forget, OP, that with the new feedback system you'll probably get a neg for slow delivery and there won't be much you can do about it.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Yep - and these are the same people that can affect our ability to sell, and soon the fees we pay, on eBay.

Yep... I think ebay is also lacking in common sense or is just blantantly stupid!
