make sure you get a name and extension number of the person you speak to
so in the letter you can say any financial loss they suffer because of any delay is because of X on Y extension number and it shows you have informed them aswell!Yes Your Dukeiness

Tears, How do you know it's HDNL, other than their trademark delivery style?
If itwas delivered by HDNL Soolin should ring their local depot and tell them she is charging them £25 per day to store their parcel :-)
Lol, the delivery style was a pointer
But I just assumed when soo saidgot a knock at the door from a home delivery driver.0 -

I've spoken to the company that sent the parcel. Firstly they wanted me to go and deliver it and I said no so now they have taken my phone number and have said they will tell the customer to come and get it himself.
I'm actually a bit unhappy at them giving out my number as I am ex directory, but I couldnt think what else to do and didn't want to look obstructive. I did warn them though that I go away tomorrow for a long weekend so would prefer to have it collected today or first thing tomorrow.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. they seriously asked you to deliver it? classic
personally i make sure i send the same driver out to fix any mistake like that0 -
So it's the parcel sender who're suggesting to deliver it yourself? What have HDNL actually said (presumably it'd be them that'd haveto pick it up and redeliver anyway)? Unless I've missed something the way I've read the thread is that you've only spoken to the senders."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I think that's what Lorian suggested. It probably wouldn't lead anywhere in terms of practically getting any money out of it but if they think you're "one of those awkward people" they may be spurred into action."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
