I can't see that this has been posted elsewhere, so - shouldn't the new Kaupthing-Edge savings a/c be shown as the new Best Buy instant access savings account? It's 6.50% with a guarantee until 2012 [I think, from memory]

Perhaps putting kaupthing into the search box and selecting forums doesn't do what it should for some people?Conjugating the verb 'to be":

Works fine for me.

Just what is the matter with people at the moment? Have just logged in and have read several threads like this.
People trying to be helpful ( often with low post count) receiving sacastic responses by others who are maybe spending just a bit too much time on here.

They just find a new website and just start posting new threads without using the search feature.
What is it with that? They can figure out how to post, but not how to search!
Etiquette works both ways you know?Conjugating the verb 'to be":

Personally I don't think it's too big a problem when users want to share what they've found. Sometimes vBulletin isn't the easiest software to use to find something, especially if you're just looking for a recent topic in a busy area.
I think that people should post if they're in doubt rather than stay silent and run the risk that others won't find out about their news for a while.
I'm sure that when software is incorporated that automatically searches for key terms in your topic/post and matches them to others, suggesting that topics might already exist, we might see a reduction in multiple posts of the same material, but until then let's give them a little slack and just point them in the right directionI am a Chartered Financial Planner

Well, I'm not going to be slapped down by anybody, thank you very much. (Paulherring & bristolleedsfan - if the cap fits, wear it. Aegis - thanks for your sympathetic support). Nor do I aim to get into a slanging match. I looked down the first page of posts & saw no mention of Kaupthing - so I thought I WOULD mention it. Sarcastic comments won't prevent me doing the same thing in future. Maybe other people might be alerted to this a/c who haven't used the search feature either. If my thread has helped some people then good-oh. If others have been irritated or offended by it, for whatever reason, then tough t!tty.Expect the worst & hope for the best...0
