Sammiboo - do they like quorn and that sort of thing? If so, just make whatever you normally like to eat, but use quorn instead of meat.

If not, vegetable pasta bake is easy and cheap! Serve with garlic bread and a nice salad, and it makes a lovely meal.

I am also panicking cos my family are coming at the weekend and my brothers GF is veggie and I am racking my brains what to make so that it doesnt seem I have just made something to make do :o Any veggies out there with a favourite (easyish) meal?

How about a veggie lasagne? Usually goes down well when you have veggies and non-veggies

Ste's still not back from going to see his dad and has left his phone here so no way of contacting him. Having to put both girls to bed on my own! the nerve! lol

    i hope he is o.k.
maybe he left his phone as you always get told off for having them on anyway.
saying that i was in a&e as a patient in jan last year and the nurse said is that you rmobile ringing i said no (it wasnt) she just said oh i was going to tell you its ok to use it as it saves our phone being tied up all the time

i'm having to settle and take dan to bed too as his dad has gone back into work( forces 24/7 and all that) even though he reckons 'if i love him ill let him watch the bill!!

thats his word of the day 'if you love me.......... cheeky !!!!!!

A lot of hospitals have changed their mobile phone policy as it has never been proven that it affects machinery. My old place changed it to you could use it in any public area (ie corridors, A+E) and on the wards as long asyou were thoughtful of the other patients. The only areas it was banned from were Critical Care and HDU (similar to Critical Care). Didn't stop the over-zealous Red Cross volunteers lynching anyone they saw using one in the reception area - they were right little jobsworths! Funny when they used to stop consultants - it was like a nanny telling off a little boy even they shouldn't have been telling them to turn them off!

Well, that's a batch of luvverly pancakes all made and stacked to be re-heated later - fab!

I'm currently trying to get the motivation to go stick my head in the freezer
I'd be too scared to do that, afraid that it would disappear completly;)
