Nope. They said I'm young so there's no need to  Just gotta wait six weeks for a blood test and suffer meanwhile. Very odd.

I know its no consolation, but it must be nice being too young for something like that!

But how do they expect to diagnose whatever the problem is? I guess they must be able to tell more from blood tests than I thought!

Have you tried the Fortisip drinks from the chemist - might be prescription only though...maybe you can persuade your GP to prescribe some if they think that's an option, as they have all the nutrition needed...my dad had them years ago after a stomach op.
  • I had blood tests and tablets for a minor stomach ulcer about 4 years ago.

The blood test is looking for H. pylori which causes peptic ulcers. If that comes back positive, I would guess your GP will prescribe something first rather than go ro the camera.

    It's not nice, I sympathise :(

But if they were that good, it wouldn't have take 2 years and counting to get this far...

  • On a day off today to take the cat to the vets and hopefully bring some order to what is a tip of a flat today. Will be drilling hopes in walls for shelving, hoovering, ironing, hanging curtains, steam cleaning the bathroom and kitchen floors, re-sealing the bath, and trying to get down the Post Office to send off 4 ebay parcels!!!!

I'll be on later with a progress report and if these things haven't been done, feel free to reprimand and scold me!

My mind jumbled that for a second and it read that you were going to hoover the cat whilst it was on the curtain!!! I think I need an early night........:o

jacs - I need to send the OH up the loft to get my box of paperwork down. He hurt his leg at football last night  so I probably won't send him up there tonight as it means launching from a step ladder up the 'hole'..........I know.......I'm all heart...........:rotfl:

I'm guessing I haven't been successful with a couple of jobs that closed on the 31st. Another 2 jobs to move to my 'no' list :(
