Hi kimmy,
I regularly freeze banana cupcakes with no problems. When they are defrosted the surface can be a bit sticky but if you pop them into a hot oven for a couple of minutes it will refresh them and they'll taste freshly baked all over again.
I'll add this to the quick questions on freezing thread later as your question may help others.

I've frozen banana muffins and cupcakes (granted not banana flavour) but I don't see any problems arising

Hi All
To stop waste and spread the flavour, I was wondering if it is OK to cut up a chorizo into chunks and then just defrost and use as necessary. Do you know if the chorizo will keep OK in the freezer (I use both raw and ready to eat kinds)?
Thanks

I'd think it would be okay. It's not that different from the slices of pepperoni that are on frozen pizzas.Unofficial Debt Free Wannabee.

I buy big pack at Costco, freeze them and take out one by one as and when needed for cooking.
They are brilliant addition to quick pasta dishes, giving them that extra kick of a flavour.
They also defrost fairly quickly.0 -
You can, but bear in mind that freezing won't stop cured pork from going rancid, just as it would in the fridge. Ditto for bacon and other cured pork products."There may be a legal obligation to obey, but there will be no moral obligation to obey.
