Hi all,
I am going to be cooking my bf a lovely seafood pasta for valentines day using frozen seafood mix.
Could I reheat the leftovers and eat them the next day? Is it safe to reheat seafood once it has been cooked?
Thanks,

Anytime you reheat shelfish you run a risk dependant on the way in which it was stored prior to purchase and then by yourself afterwards, it is not uncommon for frozen foods to thaw several times and be refrozen prior to sale, it can happen for all sorts of reasons mostly due to poor housekeeping on the part of the supermarket. Rember there is nothing romantic about food poisoning so is it really worth the risk?Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

I wouldn't. I wouldn't even eat the leftovers cold the next day.0

I'm with the rest on this one - not worth the risk of reheating IMO. Just try to make sure you only cook the amount that you'll eat on the night, and save the balance for another day.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I know it's only wiki but the content appears sound to me from what experience I have of the topic.

I shouldn't even be asking this question because I'm supposed to be doing low-carb  but ...
I want to re-heat yesterday's corned beef hash in the oven (I don't have a microwave) - it's in a pyrex type dish & I would just like to know if I should leave the lid on or not??
I was thinking of 200 degrees ish for about 30 minutes.
Thanks peeps.0 -
I would leave the lid on in case it dries out0

Hi,
I cooked a big piece of beef overnight in my sc then wrapped it in tinfoil this morning and put it in the fridge at dinner time befor I went out. Can I re heat what I need for tonights tea or does it have to stay cold? I've never cooked beef befor... usually chicken eaters in this house.
If I can re heat it, how, pleeeeaseI should of maybe cooked it through the day
Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -
yes you can re-heat the best way to keep it moist and stop it going tough is to slice it as you like then make some gravy in a frying pan/oven dish and bring to a simmer then place the beef in for apx 5 minsI
