Or you could slice it very thinly and stir fry it with some spices and peppers or just an onion if you don't have those and pop into a pitta pocket.0

If this is the wrong forum then apologies, mods please move it.
I made too much chicken curry last night and put what was left in a food container in the fridge. I was just wondering if it is okay to re-heat it for my daughter tonight...thanks0 -

After you have cooked the chicken. Did you get the chicken to under 5c with in 4 hours?
That is the main target. If that was achieved you should be fine.
To speed up this process at home. I would seperate into small containers so you get better air flow. I may also put the container in cold water with lid off for a while to let as much heat escape as possible.
ALthough at this time of year. A closed container outside should be a lot cooler than kitchen and with a little wind with chill it quicker.0 -
If you cook chicken and want to freeze some, what should you do? One of my housemates says put it straight into Tupperware and in the freezer. Someone else says let it cool down naturally on the side before you freeze it.
So you use cold water to chill it quickly, but could that be achieved by putting it straight in the freezer?0
