    Hi again,
Thanks for solving the ram question, I just have one more problem. The pc has 2 x 160 gb HDD sata. ( pc recently bought refurbished - as seen on hotukdeals)
When I click on system properties ( my computer) it is only showing one HDD. I made a muppet of myself by suggesting to the seller that it only had one HDD and the email replied

    "
You will need to partition and format the second drive for it to show under windows."

Is there any easy way to do this? Im not sure exactly what it means as I have partitioned one hard drive into two before on another PC ( just before windows install) but why would I need to partition 2 drives? I looked inside the PC and sure enough 2 HDDs are there.

If there isnt an easy way to do this ( after windows install) then its no big deal as 160gb is probably big enough anyhow, its my kids PC and used mainly for games.

    Cheers

It should be showing in device manager. If it's not there, there's something wrong.

It's dead easy to setup a drive in windows though, yeah.

    right click my computer, manage.

Disk management, there'll be a drive listed at the bottom that's unallocated.

right click it and do your thing.
