Does everyone have confirmation of order from M&S. I managed to order 9 things for my new baby but still haven't got the confirmation after 20 hours.

Den, should do. I placed an order yesterday am and they have just confirmed the order. Sure they will. Not pleased though as they have said delivery will be around the 25th July, will be asking for a p&p refund if it takes that long !

They state on the website that delivery will take about that time. So you agree to their terms when you order. Only if they fail to deliver on 25th then you can try to get refund. But I would ask in any case

When I placed the order it said 'delivery within 4 - 10 days' ! I will complain anyway, they are usually more than willing to refund the postage costs. Got to be worth a go

If your buying anything to put away for presents I would check the contents carefully if I was you.

I ordered three sets of the stainless steel pans, they arrived today in a large cardboard box inside one of the boxes is soaking wet, the first box I opened the middle sized saucepan had a blue heatmark on the base where it has clearly been used! I phoned the customer services and was blandly told, "just send the pan back and we will replace it" no apology and what is more alarming no hint of surprise in her voice, are M&S in the habit of sending out returns as new now?

I just fired off a terse email to them and am awaiting a response, now to go open and check the other two boxes before I stow them for Christmas presents.

UPDATE ON THIS
I received an email from customer service, very sorry blah de blah etc upshot they refunded for one set of pans and delivery costs, my faith restored in M&S but I will check any packages immediately in the future.

Seems best to deal via email rather than telephone though.
