I have just come back from M&S. My only real bargain was a leather jewellery box reduced from £55 to £15. To be honest, there weren't that many sale rails in either ladies or mens. There were quite a few good lingerie reductions.0

No Free delivery then i have just had to pay £3.50 i was gutted as the shirts i wnted had vanished by the time i got to checkout, will have to check instore0

I just got back from the shop.
Largest sale areas were outdoor candles, lingerie and travel accessories such as travel plugs.
Not much in sale. Kids clothes and toys limited sale.
Best bargain was canteen of cutlery from £135 to £45 so pleased.0 -
Just been to the M and S sale in Liverpool - very disappointing.
Seems to be more to be found online.
I am sorry I bothered.
Also went into Clarks to try and buy shoes/ sandals in their sale for my 2 year old son. Very small selection. Came out empty handed.

Was in the Cheshire Handforth Dean store this evening and heard lots of people moaning that there were hardly any bargains. It was also fairly quiet. Its a while since I've been in an M&S sale and seen so few people.
I bought an interesting magazine rack for the house but saw no clothes bargains. Undies were cheap though. Interestingly when I went around the store I still thought that the quality wise Next is better quality in many respects.
My guess is they will have another sale later in the summer (September probably) as they seemed to have a lot of summer stock not in the sale.
I think this sale is all about getting people into the store to buy food (like I did) and full priced clothes when they can't find any sale bargains0 -
Could anyone please tell me if when an item shows up as unavailable if that means they shall nver have any more? Also are the prices instore the same as online?
Im finding it hard to get out at the moment and have just tried buying 18 different items only each one was unavailable2007 is my getting slim year
Total weight loss so far is 16llbs:T
Total to go 15 pounds:eek:
Not no more as im having a baby:D0 -
Dont lose heart !!! M&S do their sales in 2 phases. I expect the next phase will be in a few weeks (its usually 2 or 3 weeks after the 1st phase) and all the summer stuff will be in it...0

Yes, roll on the reductions on the reductions. Less than 75% off just doesn't do it for me I'm afraid....Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.0
