I think Tim has been nothing but upfront all the way through, and it's a pity other companies can't do the same. How many people have applied for freebies that haven't arrived without a word of apology, or have had to chase them up because the company have tried to wriggle out of it (anyone remember the Grand Marnier fiasco?) Without the updates, the thread would have been full of complaints about "harvesting our details, scam, could at least let us know it would be delayed", etc.

So what if it's delayed? Big deal, it's a freebie. It's not like your wages are late and the bills won't get paid. Let's get a little perspective and just look forward to our freebie next week. :beer:

Tim has not posted all the way through towards the so called end,i do agree with the post calling it a con as i think they will someway use our details or email for there benefit i also think the thread should be closed if it comes it comes if it doesnt it doesnt,all this hype and build up for nothing just close it and move to GONE AND FORGOTTEN

People have recieved theirs, just not everyone.
If you all think it's a con why don't you email Tim and ask for your details to be removed, then people who actually appreciate it might be able to get one instead of waiting for next years.
You're not paying a penny for it, some people need to learn to appreciate things more.
