They are like old friends now, the way they keep e-mailing me to tell me their problems. Would love to see this box when it finally arrives.

You're right, anyone who joined before Sept 5th will get the November box (which was supposed to be the October box). It's new and sometimes (most times, in fact), things take longer than anticipated to get moving.


The box will be with you Nov 29th. Did you not get the email below on Friday?

Wow. I joined in July/August- No email, no nothing and no matterbox
I know the emails they sent me don't go to junk as the very first one they sent me to confirm my joining them went to my inbox (not junk box) and I marked it as safe.

Maybe I need to rejoin. :idea:

I didn't receive the e-mails either so I e-mailed them to ask/check that I was on their list. Tim (he must be a v. busy guy!) mailed back apologising and attaching the latest one & confirmed I was on the list, it even had the date I joined on it. It seems that some e-mails go astray but that doesn't mean you registration did not go through - I think it is too late to re-join for this one.

If you are registered the most recent date given for them to arrive is Sat. Nov 29th.

They replied to me v. quickly so it is worth asking them.

Hi, Tim - hope you see this post.

Thanks so much for your post letting us know what is going on - it must be a huge project (and prob. a nightmare!) to co-ordinate, and whilst it is frustrating for those who are waiting, I'm sure we all understand this.

I'd like to say thanks for replying to my e-mails so quickly.

If you can post on here it will be a great way to let us all know what is going on - it will save loads of us e-mailing you individually (and you having to reply to them) and a personal touch is always nice and reassuring.

Many thanks for introducing yourself and hopefully it will be a lot easier for all concerned if you are allowed to post updates on here - do hope it can be a means of communication.

Just thought, we somehow need to alert everyone to read a posting when they see your name and maybe not reply on the same thread as everytime someone answers, their name will show and not yours: no-one will know to read it.

The answer may be (if you are allowed) to start a new thread - 'Tims MatterBox Updates' rather than posting on this one, but maybe that one should be for information only so your updates don't get lost in loads of replies on it.

Maybe do an update thread for info. but anyone who wants to take anything up should still e-mail you and not reply on thread?

It's certainly a good way of reaching us all - will look out for the e-mail, thanks. I'm sure the contents will soon be posted here so if it doesn't reach everyone at least they will know what was in it.

Anything that is against the rules on the board will be deleted by the powers that be anyway, but I don't think there could be a problem with anything thats been on here so far.

Still think you need a separate thread though - e.g. because I have replied my name will show up on the board and people won't know that you have posted.

Maybe you'll hear today!
