royal mail are relying on companies providing the items to put in the boxes, with the big credit crunch maybe companies are not prepared to do this...

We had intended for the next box to be delivered in the Spring but this didn’t happen, unfortunately.
We’re rethinking some aspects of Matter including making boxes more relevant to people–rather than one box that goes to everyone. We believe the boxes will be better when they’re more relevant and so we’re adapting our publishing schedule to reflect this.
We’re working on the exact details right now and we’ll write to you to let you know when to expect it.
My apologies for any confusion, disappointment or inconvenience. Matter is new and we’re developing it as we go.

I don't think so to be honest, I think its still around still around, just delayed, probably because they want to make sure everyone gets it on the same day, which at the moment is really hard because of the strikes. I reckon more will be heard after the strikes are done.

i signed up this time last year ( like lots of ppl on here who still haven't had a box) and back in February i emailed them-and was told i'd get a box in April.i told them that in the last email to which i received the reply i posted today.

yeah I signed up over a year ago as well, but I keep looking at the website, and I am sure that if there wasn't going to be another one there would be something on there?

I know there have been strikes across various parts of the country since at least June of this year, its a valid reason to delay I think...

I could be wrong, but am 99% sure I'm not, perhaps thats the optimist in me lol

I applied for a matter box in November 2008 and nearly a year on I have still not received it! I think they only sent one or two out and have now stopped it :mad:
