i did get one, i think in the summer, it had a chocolate bar in it , can't remember what else

i got a matter box ages ago with a fire dvd,a bottle of shower gel,a chocolate bar and a cd cleaning cloth.

Was told in an email that they were running late and that I would get one in the next few months, but that was back at the beginning of the year !

I would have thought what with the recession and the problems Royal Mail are having that this promo venture was scrapped - if companies aren't advertising in mags anymore with a massive readership and those mags are going to the wall, I'm guessing the production of all the samples to send out in the boxes are pretty low down the list of a companies priorities right now.
And if they aren't doing it anymore, then I guess it's not really a high priority for them to tell us.
But look on the bright side - we never paid anything for this, so we've got nothing to be angry about - we signed up which took about 2 minutes on the thought of getting something for nothing. Some people did, some people didn't. Hardly the end of the world is it?

If you go to the website and look at the blog (you might need to log in for that, not sure) you can see the last update was September 24th. I don't think they've abandoned it just yet.

Hello.
Obviously, it’s been a bit quiet around here and maybe you’re wondering whether we’ll ever do another box. Well, we will and we are.
We’re putting one together now for delivery in a few month’s time. It’s taken a while, we know, but we’ve been beavering away at getting in front of brands and advertisers to show them why giving people something is better than telling them something.
We’re making progress and will have the next box out as soon as we can gather enough brands together to make some nice things to go in it.
We’ll post more news when we have it.

A few months from September would make it Christmas, so we'll probably get one (or some people will) in the new year. By which time most people will have forgotten all about it, so won't that be a nice surprise?

I've not received anything. Each morning I sit waiting for the post person to bring my box of freebies and it never comes.

I guess it will never come now.

I'm fed up of waiting.
