  • I'm sorry for the rant but I'm getting increasingly annoyed by people on here complaining about not yet receiving the box. It's a FREEBIE. No promises have been made as to when you will receive the box, just an estimation. You have not paid any money or been given a cast iron promise so there's no reason for you to be complaining. If you don't like it then unsubscribe and leave it be. Otherwise just accept it as a bonus when the box comes. And please read the last few pages of the thread before complaining - the email from Matter clearly explains that they are changing their strategy slightly which is the reason for the delay this time around. They didn't have to respond at all but they've been open and honest and that's a commendable. I've been signed up from near enough the start and received the box last year and for a freebie it was excellent (yes, it was delayed many times but I don't care, it was worth it in the end).

I'm sure that nobody will take a blind bit of notice but I feel that I should stand up for Matter, having read a lot of the rubbish on here.

I have never received anything from them, but like comp-uter guy says its a freebie.
It would be nice if they post a message on the website in their blog, that would save them half of the mails they receive. I think most of the peeps complaining here complain because they don't have any info on whats really going on.

Hear hear comp-uter guy! I couldnt agree more! It is a freebie and as such, a bonus should it arrive. And if it dosent, well, it dosent - it never cost anything anyway. (Incidentally, I've never received one yet, but I dont feel the urge to start chasing!)

I agree and complaining is almost like complaining about a competition because you didn't win it.
  • Coming up to the end of April, still no box :(
    "what a suprise..."
How is Matter funded anyway? from advertising from other companies dishing out the goods inside the box? Its such a good idea but not pulled off well.

What are you on about?! Try reading what was posted about them changing how it's done so when you get a box it'll be better suited to you. Hence th delay. And how exactly is it 'not pulled of well'? I got the second box and although some of the stuff didn't interest me, I still think it's a brilliant form of advertising.
