Well,you didn't confuse.
It is deano.uk (who works for a big 5 mobile company) who has confused the thread by insisting you must deal with o2 when they won't be interested in offering a retention deal to a cpwo2 customer like you!0 -

I really, really don't want an 18-month contract as I know I would be really fed up with the phone by then!
