Usng the night cream has left me with terrible white bumps on my face which will not shift. I wish I'd never heard of the stuff. I stuck to clinique for years and never had a problem till I tried this. If it suits you then that's great but don't assume anything. I just wonder how long term the trials were that hailed this stuff as such a wonder.HLK

One cream cannot suit everyone - that's probably why there are so many brands and formulations. What interests me, though, is that those it does not suit seem to feel the need to post, in tremendous detail, to tell us that this cream does not suit their (invariably) incredibly sensitive skin. They then go on to suggest (directly or indirectly) that this is due to the quality of the cream. They then (invariably) feel the need to share with us the brands which do suit their incredibly sensitive skin.
I can't help wondering why those of us with (invariably) incredibly sensitive skin, who have already found several brands which do suit their (invariably) incredibly sensitive skin, feel the need to dice with death and try out new brands at the risk of causing a reaction to their incredibly sensitive skin.
So, those of us with incredibly sensitive skin who are now, apparently, incredibly spotty notwithstanding, what I'd like to know is if it has actually improved anyone's wrinkles or sagging?0 -
Just FYI, I found the night version much better than the day version.
Usually night creams are heavier than day creams but in this case it's the day cream that feel much more oily to me and was definitely causing spots (I bought it first as I hoped it will be lighter than the night version). I found it very greasy on my combination skin though and it definitely brought me out in spots - yuck!
I got the night version and it is definitely lighter and milder, also the smell is milder - I believe that the day version contains alcohol and the night one does not. Day cream's smell is similar but much sharper.
The explanation might be that the day cream contains sun filters and they usually make creams heavier and richer. I don't know why they have alcohol there?
Anyway, if you have problems with these creams, try using night cream exclusively and see if it helps! Myself I'm very happy with it now and the day cream is being used as hand treatment where it works very well. I am not putting it on my face again though!!
I too find the night cream great and the day cream too greasy etc. I have now got a lidl day cream for sensitive skin anti wrinkle too its good for under £3. Will use the aldi day cream on my hands as a poster suggested.0 -

Are people with sensitive skin not allowed to try new products, especially ones that are going to save us money? I'm not sure of your point here?Gone ... or have I?0 -
I tried the night cream. Sorry but I don't like it either. It was the smell that put me off. Far too strong in my opinion. But it didn't cost much and it is ok to put on my dry elbows dutring the day.
I didn't use it long enough to find out whether it was any good though. Currently I am using the Loreal 3.1 which really reduces the sagging and wrinkles. However it is £31 eek. I don't use it on my chin though as that gives me spots. I think any mosturiser that claims to "plump up" will do this, It must be in the ingredients.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

Well i love the night cream. I havent tried the day cream yet but i may do. I have combination skin and i havent had any trouble so far.
I think that it's incredibly good value for money. I have and will continue to recommend it. In fact i'm giving it out as a pressie to my nan as well.0 -
Yes… One cream cannot suit everyone, I've tried dozens of soaps and creams but I found best cream at Cosmetic Surgeon In A Jar. It really works well for my dry skin.

Bought the night cream and tried it for the first time last night.
Have a wee spot or two this morning, but i don't know if i can attribute that to the cream as i'm always coming out in spots.
However, has left my skin really soft. So hopefully the spots will go and it will be a good buy:)
