  • Everybody that did this offer originally, it will now work again!!!!

For most people it will be about 9 months since they did it and so should get another £10.

I had a £40 a month unlimited calls and texts contract , last month i reduced it to £35 for 700 mins and 100 texts the operator on 191 at vodafone said i could only reduce it by £5 and once a month , yesterday i phoned them back on 191 as they have been charging me for texts and i've only used a few , they said i'll get refunded , i then asked if i could reduce it and was offered 250 mins and 100 texts for £30 or 150 mins and 100 texts for £20 , it seems to depend on who you get , i asked if i could get a better deal on minutes , then she put me on hold and played me music for a few seconds then came back offering me 600 mins and unlimited texts for £30 , next month i'll phone them again to reduce it again , all this from a free n95 8gb offer i was never supposed to be allowed to reduce , it definitly depends on who you get when you call. i then got an automated call asking me to rate their customer services .

Has anyone tried this with virgin? Also, if they just give you your PAC code, do they close your account?

  • No. Its only if you give the PAC code to another provider then your account will be closed. Otherwise the PAC will expire after 30 days with no harm done.:j

  • Well I just thought I'd give virgin a go, and no such luck.....explained about another network and she just said ok, here's ya pac code........grrrrrrr.......nevermind, so if I do nothing with the PAC now, my account will just stay open as usual? Was really surprised actually because I've been with them for years :(
