Tesco grocery online codes - discussion thread

Well probably they should have contacted you to tell you the voucher could not be accepted to give you the option to cancel or not. If it went through as accepted online and you had a conformation email saying you'd got the code deducted you could speak to customer services again if you want to.

I suppose if it had been your own voucher given as compensation for some reason they might not really argue with the zero total but if people use these codes for zero total orders or really small amounts left to actually pay they could easy clamp down and become far more strict about online codes.

No disrespect but personally I wouldn't put an order in using a code that way to get free goods and free delivery. We are lucky we can use codes and get extra points relatively easy through MSE. If it gets abused too much in this way it could in the long run spoil it for other people

I ordered wine at the end of October (delivery was 28th October) and put in a code for 2500 points (thanks to this site!) plus 115 points from the order itself. Despite several e-mails to and from Tesco, I am still waiting for the points to be added to my Clubcard. I have been assured they will be on prior to the February posting, but as yet they are not there.

So ... what are the best codes to gain a maximum discount off an order of just over £100? I understand that this amount will have the free delivery.

Doesn't work for me!! It states "You have some Clubcard Vouchers that cannot be used with this order" - I had entered the XX-4VMC plus the XX code for the free delivery on an order worth more than £100.

Any ideas as to why they would not work?
