Hello to anyone who can help.
I have a Halstead combi boiler approx. 9 years old. Several months ago I had a problem...ch fine but no hw...To cut a long story short it was the diaphragm, OH replaced it and things were fine for a few weeks.
The boiler started being noisier and has now paced up. The pressure is 1, the green lights are on when hw or ch is asked for but the burner doesn,t fire up nor does the pump move water.
I am wary of local plumbers as the last guy tried to charge for a diverter valve, and if it hadn't been for this forum, I would have been ripped off....I,m grateful for any help, thanks

Good morning: Same boiler? http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=589458
Take a look at the fault finding section in your manual and report your findings.

I sent for the manual, but it's quite complex involving checking various electrical circuits on the pcb. Looking like I may need a boiler person afterall
