Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
My husband has gone to ASDA with the kids for 8 am armed with the print-out from the Kwiksave site. Even though I queried it last night and they told me they would price match, he has had hassle getting them to match it. They said that they don't accept print-outs as you can get a price from anywhere in the world but they would honour it this time.

I managed to get both copies of the sun and daily record looking for the illusive ads but alas they are not in mine unless im looking at the wrong page. Page 24 in the Sun is an ad for WH Smith selling it for £9.99 if preordered by 5.30pm today and you are getting £75 voucher booklet. Only reason i can think of that the ads are not in my paper is that all scotlands kwik saves turned into sommerfield late last year. Bummer or what as we used to have loads of them.

How I wish that were true cheekyweegit, cos my OH would still have a job! Some of them did convert to Somerfield, but the majority of them actually shut down last year. To add insult to injury, the Kwik Save website find a store page still lists ones that closed as open

So it'll have to be Asda for us too ;)

Told my sister about the book being £4.99 in Kwik-Save, she's just rung to say she's had the book they'd only sold about 7 copies.

So will wait for my niece to read it and then have a borrow.

Picked up my copy from local kwik save at 8am this morning-£4.99.
No kids in tow-they were selling to anyone, nothing mentioned about having a child with you!

Now my brood can argue over whose going to read it first!

We got 2 Harry Potter books at Kwik Save for £4.99 this morning. Arrived at 8.10 expecting a queue and the car park was empty!!
This was Kwik Save LLandudno Junction and they were allowing you to 'borrow ' someone elses child if you were over 15 years, after 10am anyone can buy and I would expect there to be some left. I'm now going to have a lovely quiet Saturday with two boys deep into their books. Ah bliss
Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves

Got mine at kwik save this morning. I was outside at 7:30 expecting a queue but no one else turned up until nearly 8!
I had my 9 year old with me but they were selling to anyone, one per customer.
They said they had 74 copies - £4.99 each!

Our postie delivered my copy from Amazon this morning, but also mentioned that the local branch of Tescos is selling it for £4.99. I have not been there to verify this, but if anyone is near The Meadows in Camberley, they might want to drop in.

Think I will email Amazon, and ask whether they would be willing to reduce their price a little; doubt I will get anywhere, but you never know!
