    Morning :)

Well, the tour has gone out, after 3 sleepless days and nights. They are all on a flight as we speak and I'm sitting next to the phone ready to troubleshoot. I should have gone with them really but I'm working from home, I did send my number 1 boy though so I know it'll all go fine. I'm a little worried about the lack of sound check, Amy will probably take up most of the time, so it'll be EQ on the fly during the first tune. Nowt new there then :)

Think I'll go and see my doggy. Then I might give in and put the heating on when I get back.

Sounds very 'showbiz' Toto.......is it anyone we'd all know??

    Fingers crossed for you!

Morning all, had a good weekend money-wise, didn't spend anything and made £50 on Bingo free trial thingies. Been feeling a bit crappy and down the last few days but the sun is shining this morning, I have jobs to apply for and money saving things to do, determined to try to keep positive.

  • Well done on negotiating part time- I wish I could do the same with some of the posts I've seen. I've even applied for a few and said that I have plenty of relevant experience - how about considering me at 25 hours per week?

I escaped the NHS after 8 years last year - it is weird as it is a really institutionalised feeling working for them but it is amazing how big the world outside the wards is!!!

    morning all!

Had a very productive weekend, am now at work for a rest! lol

It's Erin's 7th birthday today but we decided to have a birthday weekend saturday/sunday as i'm working today and tonight she starts Brownies(awwwww!) so we wouldn't have time for cake, presents etc today.

We both went for a haircut at 9am on saturday, which was eventful, mine is now short! Think Gwynneth Paltrow in sliding doors, i like it but Big G reckons it's a bit short, but not too fussed for his opinion!

Then we(me, Erin and my mum) went to MIL's which involved a traipse around the shops and lunch out... mainly round charity shops and i got a new (new to me!) top, £4, and some brand new leather boots (£5!).

Then at night we went to bingo (took Erin with us as it's local village hall, so kids can come if they are quiet!)

On sunday we were going to go out to pictures or something with Erin but in the end i tackled her bedroom, chucked out a load of carp, well actually set aside for maybe Ebay-ing, and gutted the room. It looks great now and she has so much more space. Got rid of the spare single bed and stuck the mattress under her bed to use as spare bed if needed, which isn't often.

Plus i made a lovely sunday dinner of lamb shanks, 'tatoe's and broccoli. The first time i've ever made lamb shanks and they were luvverly!!!

All in all a very productive weekend, and as i said at work today for a rest!!!

    Morning all,

I'm at work and really don't want to be, but the boss isn't in so I'm intending to sit on here all day!! lol

Had a good w/end but I was poorly on sat night and felt rough on sat which meant I couldn't take DD to a party she'd been invited to. Took her to a local country park for a train ride, so that cost me £4.50  but she loved it.

I need to look into joining SW or WW as I desperately need to lose weight. It's making me unhappy in my life and thus creates a vicious circle.... I spend to make myself happy but it doesn't work!!

On a positive note I'm writing to HSBC to offer them some money as a F&F settlement.

The sun is shining here but it's bloomin freezing!!
