No ticklemouse, you are absolutely right, depending on the way you read my post it can come across as encouraging fraudulent activity and personally, I think that regular Boots tarts love their deals too much to put themselves in any awkward situations that might leave them minus one very good card let alone anything else! I was simply making a bad comment whilst trying to be funny! ::)
...and it backfired on me! ;D
...now stop laughing at me! :-[
Update:- Online triple points says until Dec6th -so an extra day online!
(Very good strategy I must say as many people realise what deal they've forgotten to get once the triple points is over in store!)0 -
Went to the late opening at Boots today: Free bucksfizz & mince pie.
Needed to buy my gran a present from family £29.99 for part of her xmas present- was tempted to use my £32 in points but it was triple points so decided not to.
As I was already going to Boots- i offered to pick up some sanctuary stuff for our 2 managers xmas presents at last minute. (£8.95 each)
Buy 2 get 1 free so work let me keep the free one for going. (I hadn't even realised i could get the 3rd free -& they spotted it not me)
I had to buy the sanctuary bags (99p each) for the presents (1 free) & i bought 3 lots of photocorners (99p each -get 3rd free) to bring the total over £50. Didn't realise you could use triple points and get 1200 offer points.
Total cost £51.87
Result: instead of £32.06 in points, I now have £50.29 in points. (sharp intake of breath when I saw points)
I also will get money for managers prezzies and will only have to pay 1/3 of gran's present.(which was last 1 in shop)
I have some free sanctiuary stuff + bag
I also got 10 tokens for a Bugs bunny - another surprize as I hadn't realised that the offer was still on.
I wouldn't call myself a Boots tart as I couldn't take any credit for it - none of it was planned. However, I've been very lucky this evening so far.0 -
Only voucher of any possible use today was for a free 'Boots StayDry Trial Pack'.
Couldn't find it and sales staff had no idea....anyone know how you get it?
??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???Nice to save.0 -
Never heard of it - im not a staffer but if i havent heard of it well they're not likely to have! lol! sounds like some sort of feminine care to me but cant help further.
anyway time for zzzzzzzzzzzzz me thinks, dream about how many points can be gathered on friday *if i DO go. theres no saying i will, as if i want a coffee ill have to sit like a muppet in starbucks on me onw, whereas if i go to eastgate then i can feel ok in m+s on me onw. well see. if i go to eastgate i cant get any food or juice and ill get sod all if any triple points*
btw does a £10 minimum spend still apply instore? it hasnt said the last couple of times. if i go to Retail Park i can DEFINITELY make it over a tenner but if its Eastgate then i wont.my advantage_card is like gold dush0 -

This Morning are running their Christmas appeal again this year.
Take any unwrapped gift to any branch of Superdrug and they will distribute the gifts.0 -
Hi Guys,
Ive finally found a machine that works and i managed to get a 200 points voucher for T&G - however ive realised they have only added 200 points to my spend despite me buying shedloads of the stuff ;D
Now, to those of you experienced Boots tarts, did the 200 points come off for each product automatically or did you have to askthem to do it manually? Does the voucher have to be scanned right at the beginning or end, does this make a difference.
I may have to end up taking the whole lot back now...
Cheers gang0 -
Hi Happysaver
I went into boots today and bought t&g stuff, they only gave me 200 points even though id bought three, the manager said the "oversight" on the vouchers has now been fixed and you will now only get one lot of points no matter how many products you buy.
not good news im afraid.
but i hope this helps
HeldazI never knew saving money was so much fun)
